Nohab - The G Harel Uk Hana in 2021

Galaxy Studio Nohab var ett verkstadsföretag i Trollhättan grundat 1847 under namnet Trollhättans Mekaniska Verkstad av Antenor Nydqvist, Johan Magnus Lidström och Carl Olof Holm. Vid Nohab tillverkades ursprungligen lantbruksmaskiner och vattenturbiner. Senare tillkom lokomotiv, dieselmotorer, tryckpressar, militärmateriel, utrustning för kärnkraftverk m.m. Efter ekonomiska problem under 1970-talet avvecklades NOHAB som sammanhållen enhet, slutligen 1986.

The locomotives were built under license by the Belgian company Anglo-Franco-Belge (AFB) and the Swedish Nydquist Och Holm AB (NOHAB). The diesel engines of these locomotives were built by General Motors (GM) and were imported from America. A total of 205 pieces of this type of locomotive were built.
